Amanda Nix / Practice Administrator

Amanda has had the wonderful pleasure of  working with Dr. Webb since May 2006 as his Office Manager.  During that time she managed Dr. Thomas Hawk and served as the Property Manager for 740 Prince Company.  In January 2011 our practice joined  Athens Regional team and most recently part of  Piedmont Athens Regional.   Amanda is currently working with three different programs General Surgery, Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, and Colon and Rectal Surgery, along with three satellite locations in our surrounding counties. She enjoys working with the General Surgery program, seeing the growth and the terrific service we can offer to our area and surrounding counties and she is always looking for ways to make it better.  Our staff works well together and we continue to have positive feedback on our patient satisfaction surveys as well as employee engagement surveys which shows how well our teams work together to provide the best service possible to our patients. 

Sharay Oglesby / Certified Surgical First Assistant

Sharay has been part of Piedmont Athens Regional Health System since February 2005 as a Certified Surgical Technologist in the operating room. She decided to further her education as a Certified Surgical First Assistant(CSFA) in 2012. Sharay joined Athens Surgical Group as a CSFA in 2013. She works with both Dr. Webb and Dr. Kimbrell. Sharay is a fully trained robotic first assistant and is part of Dr. Webb’s primary team.

Sharay is married to Marselle Oglesby who has a successful business in Athens Clarke County in the automotive service. They have three children that keep them busy when not working. Sharay enjoys going to UGA football games, fishing, and traveling!

Nikki Geyer / Front Office Coordinator

Nikki was working with Piedmont Athens Regional in the Neuro-Diagnostic lab as the department secretary for 16 years and recently joined Dr. Webb’s office in April of 2016, as Front Office Coordinator.

She is married to Jeremy Geyer who has worked here at Piedmont Athens Regional for 17 years as Telecommunications manager. They have four children.

Nikki greets patients, prepares charts for the nurse/doctor with documents needed before seeing patients, schedule new and follow-up appointments, collect payments, answer incoming and making outgoing calls, and assist any of the surgical techs or nurses if needed.

Beth Royster/ Clinical Supervisor

Beth is from Cadwell Georgia. She started working with Athens Surgical Group in 2003 as a medical assistant. Beth got her Medical Assistant with Associate of Applied Science degree from Middle Georgia College. She moved to Oconee County when she married her husband Clay. Beth has been married for 13 years and has two girls. Her husband is a Supervising Manager at Hanger Prosthetics and Orthotics.

Outside of work, Beth enjoys spending time with family and friends,crafting, attending travel softball games for her girls, and trips to the beach.

Angie Franklin/ R.N.

Angie is from Lexington Georgia. She is a graduate if Piedmont College in Greenwood South Carolina. Angie has worked as a registered nurse for Piedmont Athens Regional for over 9 years. Having past nursing experience in cardiology and the cardiovascular stepdown unit at Piedmont Athens Regional, she brought her experience with pre and post operative surgical patients to Athens Surgical Group in 2012.

Outside of work she and her husband, Scott, enjoy spending time with their children and enjoying lake life.
